Animal Crossing Fossil Dual Extrusion by bradicai Thingiverse

Cute fossil for all your Animal Crossing decorating needs!

Shared by bradicai on Thingiverse:

This is a very easy model to print without supports, and low infill.

The IRL picture was printed diagonally about 8cm tall. 3shells and 8%infill for main and 12%infill for alt, 0.4W 1.125H. I dont usually include the materials i used, but this one turned out so good, I use Paramount FighterJetBlue and Ziro White Marble.

Nintendo Switch Grip (Docked) #3DPrinting #3DThursday

Suou shared this project on Thingiverse!

Obviously there’s no lack of 3D printable docked grips for the Switch, and whilst I could go on in length about my motivations and goals, suffice to say that I can be quite picky when it comes to ergonomics and that I designed this as a complement to my portable switch grip found here.

Trying to be to the point then, the main thing setting my design apart is mainly that it incorporates the proper metal rails from either the standard grip or the slide-on covers that come with the Switch.
Furthermore, it also incorporates the light pipes from the standard grip to make it all a bit more complete. And on a similar note, the mid-section also has a cut out intended for a laser cut and engraved piece of acrylic in the place of a logo.

First 5 Pictures are V5s

Version 5 is still in Beta and isn’t exactly the best

Version 3(Hygrip) and Version 5 aren’t compatible

I made this because holding the switch by itself is really uncomfortable. You can check out how I made it on my website www.everyview.net It would be really nice if you could give me credit if you’re showing it anywhere, but have fun with this and hope it makes using the switch more comfortable.

Legend of Zelda Rupee Nightlight

FHXLE0EJTON2MT1 LARGE

Excellent night light for any Zelda Fan. Shared by mportatoes on Instructables:

I’ve always been a huge Legend of Zelda fan (my last instructable was a Majora’s Mask replica with flashing LEDs). Wanting to make my first 3D print, I used Tinkercad and started with something simple – a box/case. After looking through some saved items on Thingiverse, I wanted to try making a night light for my daughter (w/ a touch of my nerdiness). So, I ended up making a nightlight with rupee colors from A Link to the Past.

Nintendo Labo VR review #VirtualReality #LABO @theVerge

Nintendo is back with another cardboard maker kit. This time they are diving into the world of virtual reality…again. Check out the review from the Verge on YouTube:

Nintendo Labo VR is a fresh take on virtual reality gaming. VR can be isolating, but Labo VR is centered around quick, shareable games designed to be played with friends. You can fly like a bird with the wind blowing in your face, paint with an elephant’s trunk, and take photos of underwater fish. There’s also Toy-Con Garage VR, which lets you code and play your own VR games. Labo VR will work with Nintendo Switch games like Mario Odyssey and The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, which makes Nintendo’s belated foray into VR well worth the wait.

ZELDA BOTW STAMINA VESSEL

I really wanted a glow in dark stamina vessel from Breath of the Wild and this is what I came up with. The prototype I first made did not quite fit well together with the cage all I had was small holes for dowels which kept on snapping. So I tried making clips several different ways before settling on the current design.
