Unused 3D printer filament should be stored in an airtight box with desiccants. Tavis took this to the next level by adding a MagTag to their filament dry-box. Using a DHT 22, they took measurements of the humidity within the dry box. The humidity is displayed on the MagTag’s e-Ink display and sent to Adafruit IO for remote monitoring and long-term visualization:
